Out to see the blue Gulf Stream!
Finally we had a beautiful morning with a good weather window! There was no wind from the North, so we made our way out of the marina to the gulf stream. What a beautiful day to get a glimpse of what to expect for our upcoming trip to the Bahamas.
Christopher at the helm! We were so excited to see how the color and temperature of the water changed. As soon as we reached the Gulf Stream, it pushed us north. Fast!!!
Hey, here's a good opportunity to try out the new stabilized binoculars! They would have come in handy on the trip from New Hampshire! They give you a much better view of what's around you, and no shaking!!!!
We ended the day at anchor in Kitching Cove and began dreaming about the adventures we will have after the holidays.
